Ameris Bank Honors Women’s History Month
Mar 3, 2023

What better way to honor Women’s History Month this March than to spotlight some of the women who make Ameris Bank great.

“We as women bring new ideas and opportunities to the banking environment,” said Sheila White, collections, remarketing, recovery, and bankruptcy manager at Ameris Bank. “By offering a broader perspective of the needs of our customers, we can better serve Ameris Bank’s customer base."

And White isn’t alone in recognizing our teammates who innovate and foster our company’s culture daily.

“Women traditionally wear many hats and carry many titles in our personal and professional lives. As we work with potential and current clients, this allows us to connect with those who also wear many hats,” said Kim Howard, an accountant with Ameris Bank. “Being relatable and understanding the needs of our customers goes a long way. As women in banking continue to operate, lead and empower in the best way possible, we can continue to have a tremendous impact on the communities we serve, no matter our role in banking.”

Christina Neubert, end user services manager at Ameris Bank, speaks to the importance of confidence.

“Confidence is key, in both your personal life and work life. One way that Ameris is supporting women, and all teammates to gain confidence is through our Toastmasters Club. By improving speaking, communication, and leadership skills, women can strengthen their voices in a collaborative space.”
