Combatting food insecurities in our communities since 2010.

Helping Fight Hunger is our annual company-wide service project. Each fall, Ameris collects nonperishable food items and donations from teammates and customers for local food banks. Since its inception in 2010, we have collected nearly 10 million food items. In 2022, the amount of money raised helped fund 102,080 meals for people in need.

Established in 2020 to further support the communities we serve.

The Ameris Foundation was created to advance underserved groups consistent with our purpose of bringing financial peace of mind to communities, one person at a time. Founded in 2020, the Foundation has provided $184,000 in grants aligned with our core pillars: health wellness, education, financial equity and mental wellness.

Since 2018, Ameris has donated more than $10 million to rural hospitals.

Each year since 2018, Ameris Bank has partnered with the Georgia HEART Hospital Program to increase funding to rural and critical access hospitals in the state of Georgia. In total, Ameris has contributed more than $10 million.
